Senior Java Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our teams supporting international GameTech and iGaming clients. You will work on a variety of projects, from maintaining existing applications to building new high‑performance services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and support Java‑based applications across multiple business areas.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts and business stakeholders to design technical solutions and implement RESTful APIs.
• Conduct proof‑of‑concepts, troubleshoot incidents and provide immediate fixes.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups and regular planning meetings, delivering projects on time and to high quality standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience on large‑scale, multi‑threaded projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to work both independently and within squads.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Java (core), Spring framework
• SQL with Oracle databases
• Design and implementation of RESTful web services
• Distributed caching (Hazelcast or Redis)
• Asynchronous messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS)
• Front‑end Java UI toolkits (GWT, Vaadin, SWT, Swing, JavaFX)
• Build tools (Maven) and Linux environment
• JVM monitoring, performance tuning and troubleshooting
