About the role

Maseno University is seeking a part‑time lecturer to join its School of Nursing. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high‑quality nursing education and support the university’s commitment to academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials and practical sessions for nursing courses.
  • Prepare, administer and grade assignments, examinations and other assessments.
  • Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with educational quality control and assurance standards.
  • Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.

Required profile

  • Master’s degree in a nursing‑related discipline.
  • Relevant teaching or lecturing experience at the tertiary level.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver instructional material.
