Lecturer in Health Professions Education

About the role

The university seeks a part‑time Lecturer to teach health management, health informatics and health economics to undergraduate and graduate students. The role includes curriculum development, student mentorship and research activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and skills‑based sessions in public health and related subjects.
• Design, develop and review curricula, syllabi and examination materials.
• Provide academic advising, mentorship and supervise postgraduate research.
• Participate in departmental, faculty and university committees, quality‑assurance and accreditation processes.
• Conduct independent and collaborative research, publish findings and manage research grants.

Required profile

• PhD in Public Health (Health Professions Education/Medical Education) or a related health discipline.
• At least three years of university teaching experience in public health, health economics, health management or health informatics.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, postgraduate supervision and scholarly publication.
• Registered with relevant professional body where applicable.
