Parts Sales Advisor

About the role

The Parts Sales Advisor will drive the sale of automotive parts through the retail/workshop counter and multiple communication channels. You will build and maintain a diversified customer base, ensuring a smooth purchasing experience for both new and existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Handle retail and workshop counter parts sales, responding to enquiries and providing quotations.
• Develop and sustain a diversified customer base via counter interactions, email, phone and WhatsApp.
• Achieve sales targets by upselling, cross‑selling and reactivating inactive customers.
• Process parts orders accurately, collaborate with the Parts Ordering Analyst on demand forecasting, and manage substitutions for unavailable items.
• Oversee parts returns, vehicle off‑road (VOR) order submissions, and record lost sales in the ERP system.
• Provide prompt customer service, conduct post‑sale follow‑ups, and manage back‑orders with timely updates.
• Generate quotations, orders and picking lists using the ERP system and maintain organized filing of LPOs, invoices and receipts.
• Participate in product‑knowledge training and adhere to company policies, SOPs and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Business, Automotive or a related field from a reputable institution.
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in auto‑parts sales.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for order processing, reporting and inventory management.
