People Partner

About the role

We are seeking a People Partner to drive our people strategy across the African region. You will work closely with senior leaders to translate organisational ambition into people‑focused outcomes, fostering a high‑performing, inclusive culture.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic partnering: advise senior leaders on people priorities, lead workforce planning and drive performance and culture.
• Employee relations: resolve complex ER issues, monitor employment law developments and pre‑empt systemic risks.
• Organisational change: guide change initiatives from a people and legal‑risk perspective, collaborating with Talent & Learning and Transformation teams.
• Talent, performance and culture: design development plans for high‑potential talent, act on engagement survey data and champion equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Recruitment and mobility: oversee senior recruitment and support talent mobility strategies.
• Pay and reward: lead the Global Annual Pay Review, advise on grading, benchmarking and benefits.
• Insights‑led decisions: analyse turnover, performance and engagement data to build evidence‑based narratives for senior leadership.
• Policy and governance: maintain a compliant, up‑to‑date HR policy framework across the region.

Required profile

• Strong gravitas and emotional intelligence to act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
• Deep knowledge of multi‑jurisdictional employment law and HR best practices.
• Ability to turn people data into compelling, evidence‑based narratives.
• Adaptability in ambiguous environments and a genuine commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
