Precast BIM Specialist

About the role

AG&E Associates is seeking a driven Precast BIM Specialist to support precast project delivery through BIM modeling, coordination, and documentation. You will work within a collaborative engineering environment, contributing to mission‑critical, data‑center, aviation, and advanced manufacturing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop BIM models for precast erection plans, components, connections, details, and piece tickets.
• Coordinate architectural, civil, structural, and MEP drawings and models.
• Collaborate with precast manufacturers and internal engineering teams.
• Prepare project documentation in line with company standards.
• Support project teams by completing tasks accurately and on schedule.
• Review and check work for quality and accuracy.
• Assist with presentations and modeling for business development.
• Participate in training, mentorship, and professional development initiatives.
• Manage BIM Technicians and other specialists as assigned.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree, technical degree, or equivalent industry experience; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience producing precast documentation.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Effective independent and team work with strong communication.
