Senior Project Manager – Installation of Overhead Catenary Systems

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager you will lead the development and implementation of installation concepts for overhead catenary systems in rail electrification projects. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards while coordinating with sales, partners and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of installation projects, from tendering to construction supervision.
• Develop and optimise installation and testing concepts for overhead line systems.
• Coordinate technical requirements, risk and opportunity management across all project phases.
• Monitor progress on site, verify documentation and ensure compliance with time, cost and quality targets.
• Support sales in country‑strategy implementation and qualification of installation partners.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in rail electrification or similar large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex contracts.
• Strong analytical skills for technical requirement management and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
