Presales Consultant – Splunk

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Presales Consultant specialized in Splunk to join our Kenya team. You will work closely with sales, customers, and technical teams to design, demonstrate, and deliver Splunk‑based security, observability, and analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical presales activities for Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud.
• Engage customers to capture security, IT operations, and analytics requirements.
• Design and propose Splunk solutions aligned with business and technical needs.
• Conduct presentations, product demos, workshops, and discovery sessions.
• Own end‑to‑end Proof‑of‑Concept (POC) delivery, from requirement gathering to successful execution.
• Develop SIEM, security analytics, observability, and IT operations use cases.
• Support data ingestion, source onboarding, dashboard creation, searches, and solution configuration.
• Collaborate with sales/account teams on proposals, solution architectures, and technical responses.

Required profile

• 4–5+ years in presales, solution engineering, or a similar customer‑facing technical role.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to independently conduct technical discovery and translate requirements into solutions.
• Comfortable engaging with technical and security teams.
