Procurement Associate

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Procurement Associate to manage the procurement of goods and services, ensuring operational needs are met efficiently and cost‑effectively. The role involves overseeing the full procurement cycle, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers; negotiate contracts and monitor performance.
• Enhance and implement procurement strategies; manage requisition approvals and order tracking.
• Analyze market trends, negotiate prices, and manage procurement budgets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to monitor stock levels, conduct inventory audits and optimise inventory.
• Ensure compliance with policies, legal regulations and ethical standards; mitigate supply‑chain risks.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance and cost savings.
• Support internal departments such as Finance, Operations and Marketing with their procurement needs.
• Manage asset reconciliation for laptops, furniture and fittings in coordination with relevant teams.
• Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements in line with travel policy.
• Perform any other duties allocated from time to time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in procurement.
• Professional certification such as CIPS or CPSM is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems.
