Project Coordinator

About the role

The Project Coordinator will manage the commercial and administrative aspects of projects, using SAP R3 as the primary tool. Working within a distributed project team, the role requires proactive and timely communication with project managers, suppliers, customers, logistics providers and finance teams across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage transport documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, certificates of origin and licenses.
• Coordinate sea‑freight shipments, overseeing collection, delivery and final destination logistics for both imports and exports.
• Issue purchase orders, manage logistics from supplier to end‑customer, and create sales orders and invoices in compliance with local legislation.
• Handle material movement and service receipts in SAP, ensuring accurate month‑end accounting and project cost/revenue reporting.
• Support the Project Manager with project control, commercial contract management and compliance with process and accounting standards.

Required profile

• University degree or specialization in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of sea‑freight experience and solid knowledge of shipping documentation and customs regulations.
• Proficiency in English and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with contract accounting, purchase order management and logistics coordination.
• Knowledge of SAP (preferably SAP R3) is an advantage.
