Record to Report Senior Accountant (GL, Fixed Assets & Inventory)

About the role

The R2R Senior Accountant ensures the completeness, accuracy, and timely preparation of general ledger, inventory, and fixed asset accounts for SGS affiliates, supporting business unit accounting and internal controls in line with IFRS.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and post journal entries, maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
• Maintain and oversee GL, Fixed Assets and Inventory records, producing standard reports for stakeholders.
• Support month‑end closing, manage closing schedules, coordinate sub‑ledger feeds and communicate trial balance finalisation.
• Coordinate interim and annual audit activities, providing required documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA is a plus.
• Minimum six years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles.
• Proven ability to manage GL, Fixed Assets, Inventory and intercompany accounting.
