Sales Executive – Furniture and Flooring

About the role

A well-established furniture and interior solutions provider with a strong presence in the Kenyan market is recruiting a Sales Executive in Nairobi, advertised by Summit Recruitment & Search. The role drives revenue growth through long-term partnerships, prospect engagement and building a strong sales pipeline in the furniture and flooring industry.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, contractors, distributors and corporate clients.
• Take part in industry events, trade exhibitions and networking forums to support brand visibility and lead generation.
• Assist in client meetings, presentations and product demonstrations, and turn leads into sales opportunities.
• Work with internal teams to prepare customised proposals, quotations and client solutions, and follow up on feedback and negotiations.
• Help manage existing customer accounts to support repeat business.
• Collaborate with lead generation, marketing and product teams on campaigns and market positioning.
• Maintain CRM records of client interactions and pipeline activities, and prepare regular sales activity reports.
• Monitor market trends, customer feedback and competitor activity, and support sales targets through proactive follow-up.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or another relevant course.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyse market trends and develop strategic sales plans.
