Sales & Marketing Associate – Nairobi

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Associate to join our Nairobi shop. You will be the front‑line representative, delivering an engaging shopping experience while driving product sales and brand awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally, understand their needs and recommend suitable beauty, fashion or skincare products.
• Upsell and cross‑sell items, actively pursuing sales targets.
• Identify and approach potential business customers such as beauty salons, spas and retailers.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients to encourage repeat business.
• Follow up on leads, enquiries and business opportunities.
• Represent the brand at pop‑up markets, exhibitions, activations and other events.
• Assist in planning and executing sales and marketing initiatives.
• Develop creative social‑media concepts and produce Reels, short‑form videos and product demonstrations.
• Stay updated on beauty, fashion and social‑media trends.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and communicate features and benefits confidently.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in sales, marketing or retail, preferably in cosmetics, beauty, skincare or fashion.
• Previous work in a cosmetics or fashion store is highly desirable.
• Strong sales ability with confidence engaging both individual and business customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Friendly, confident, approachable and customer‑focused personality.
• Creative mindset for developing marketing ideas.
• Ability to work independently, follow up leads and take initiative.
• Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
• Certificate or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business or Communications is a plus but not mandatory.
• Residence in Kilimani or nearby areas is preferred.
