Scrum Master Internship (Fintech Expansion)

About the role

We are seeking a Scrum Master Intern to support a regional fintech provider’s expansion. Working fully remotely within Blue Oak Consulting’s principal‑led advisory team, you will help keep technical and commercial work flowing smoothly, ensuring the team stays focused on immediate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand‑up meetings to surface blockers and validate assumptions.
• Maintain and prioritize the project backlog aligned with the fintech expansion’s commercial goals.
• Assist senior principals in identifying and removing friction points that delay decision‑making.
• Track progress with basic metrics and help forecast timelines for advisory phases.
• Organise retrospective sessions to capture lessons learned from recent commercial assessments.
• Prepare concise internal updates summarising project status without corporate jargon.
• Ensure documentation of client decisions and financial models is well‑structured and accessible.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recent graduate of a university program related to business, finance, or technology.
• Strong interest in agile methodologies and fintech environments.
• Excellent analytical mindset with the ability to spot process inefficiencies.
• Clear communication skills and comfort working in a fully remote, self‑directed setting.
