Scrum Master Internship

About the role

Blue Oak Consulting is seeking a Scrum Master Intern to support the coordination of a major digital infrastructure overhaul for a financial advisory client. This fully remote, full‑time internship offers hands‑on exposure to agile practices within high‑stakes financial modeling projects.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate daily check‑ins to keep the team aligned on analytical priorities.
• Organize and maintain project backlogs, ensuring financial modeling tasks and data requests are clearly defined.
• Monitor timelines for the digital infrastructure engagement and flag potential bottlenecks.
• Document sprint planning and review outcomes to preserve decision‑making logic.
• Help remove obstacles that slow data gathering or model validation.
• Update remote collaboration tools and project boards to reflect current status.
• Collect basic metrics on team output to improve time‑estimation for complex financial investigations.

Required profile

• Strong interest in agile methodologies and financial advisory work.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for a fully remote environment.
• Ability to observe and document financial assumptions and data‑driven decisions.
