Security Manager

About the role

ALS Limited is seeking an experienced Security Manager to lead its Aviation Security program at Wilson Airport. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining security measures that protect aircraft, passengers, and operations across humanitarian, airline, and VIP sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Aircraft Operator Security Program (AOSP).
• Lead intelligence gathering and investigate security incidents.
• Conduct pre‑employment vetting, background checks, and maintain personnel security records.
• Design and deliver aviation security training, including aircraft search procedures and emergency response.
• Coordinate internal and external security audits, quality assurance, and documentation.
• Promote security awareness and foster a strong security culture.
• Ensure compliance with national and international aviation security regulations.
• Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and law‑enforcement agencies.
• Provide expert security advice to senior management and manage heightened‑threat situations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Security, Security Management, Criminology or related field.
• Minimum 8 years progressive experience in aviation security management with leadership responsibility.
• Professional training in aviation security, risk management, incident investigation and emergency response.
• AVSEC Instructor certification (preferred) and valid Police Clearance Certificate.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• High integrity and professionalism.
