Facilities Supervisor

About the role

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the end‑to‑end management of our BPO office environment. This role ensures the facility remains safe, secure, and fully operational in alignment with PCI DSS v4.0 standards and the established Operating Manual. You will oversee physical security, contractor management, staff transportation, and catering services to support a 24/7 high‑performance BPO operation.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce physical security guidelines and control access to all zones.
• Supervise security guards in bag checks and enforce prohibited items policy.
• Manage key control and locker assignments.
• Oversee daily opening and closing procedures to maintain site integrity.
• Coordinate contractors (cleaning, pest control, maintenance) ensuring registration, escort, and work‑order compliance.
• Organise catering logistics, ensuring hygienic delivery, storage and cleanliness of break‑out areas.
• Conduct periodic clean‑desk inspections and report non‑compliance.
• Lead quarterly fire and emergency drills, train marshals and first‑aiders, and record headcounts.
• Document and escalate security or facility incidents, driving corrective actions.
• Manage staff transportation schedules, route planning and vendor performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven experience in facilities or security management, preferably within a BPO or PCI‑regulated environment.
• Knowledge of Kenya’s Data Protection Act and Public Health Act related to food handling.
• Ability to navigate and manage security systems such as CCTV and biometrics.
