Senior Construction Manager – Nairobi

About the role

Victory Farms is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead and deliver construction projects in Nairobi. You will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion while managing a diverse on‑site team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end construction projects, keeping them on schedule and within budget.
• Supervise supervisors, foremen, and laborers directly on site.
• Maintain the highest safety standards and coordinate emergency response procedures.
• Conduct technical and feasibility studies, produce blueprints, and perform on‑site investigations.
• Support procurement of materials and equipment, and oversee proactive maintenance of heavy machinery.
• Identify risks, optimise cost efficiency, and resolve emerging issues promptly.
• Manage project budgets, purchase orders, and compile progress reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience commensurate with a senior construction management role.
• Proven ability to handle Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and use project planning software.
• Strong project management and supervision capabilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
