Senior Finance Officer (CRB)

About the role

The Senior Finance Officer (CRB) supports the Child Rights and Business (CRB) team at TDH Foundation’s Kenya Country Office. Reporting to the Finance Coordinator Kenya and functionally to the Global CRB Advisor, the role ensures accurate financial management for all CRB contracts and related initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor annual and donor‑specific budgets for CRB programmes.
• Produce financial deliverables in line with TDH internal calendars and donor requirements.
• Track donor reporting, installment follow‑up and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
• Oversee accounting, budget monitoring, and financial reporting for CRB projects.
• Maintain strong internal controls and support sound financial decision‑making.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems and procedures.
• Draft work plans and priorities for the CRB area (75% effort) in collaboration with functional supervisors.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial management within NGOs or international development.
• Strong knowledge of donor regulations, statutory requirements and internal audit standards.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
