Senior Frontend Developer

About the role

We are looking for someone to work closely with our product owners to help shape and build the future of our tools and products. The role involves developing and improving existing projects, building new websites and pages, and implementing strategies based on requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop websites based on technical and functional specifications provided by the client
• Continued maintenance, development, and bug fixes for the existing web sites
• Utilise source control tools such as Gitlab for maintaining code versioning and releases
• Test the website on different browsers and identify any technical problems
• Work with the team to manage, optimise and customise multiple web applications
• Attend daily meetings to report on assigned tasks’ progress and attend fortnightly meetings for project planning and other meetings from time to time
• Complete tasks & deliver projects on‑time and to the highest standards
• Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use

Required profile

• Strong front end development skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular and Nodejs
• Strong working knowledge of web services including REST, JSON, SOAP
• Knowledge and experience with cross‑browser issues
• Familiar with web development security best practices
• Strong command of MySQL
• Ability to write and interpret technical documentation
• Minimum two years of relevant experience
• Portfolio of projects that can be viewed online
• Good oral and written English communication skills
