Senior Solar Projects Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Solar Projects Sales Executive to lead the acquisition of commercial and industrial solar EPC projects for our client, a leading solar EPC company in Kenya. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to project hand‑over, and working closely with engineering and delivery teams to ensure successful installations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and close new solar EPC opportunities across commercial, industrial, institutional and manufacturing sectors.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with corporate clients, consultants, contractors and developers.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits and preliminary assessments to qualify projects.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, quotations and tender documents.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process: lead generation, qualification, negotiation, contract signing and project hand‑over.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement and installation teams to align solutions with client requirements.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate forecasts using CRM tools.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 5 years of experience selling solar EPC solutions.
• Proven track record of closing commercial and industrial solar projects.
• Strong understanding of the solar project lifecycle from feasibility to commissioning.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
