Senior Systems & Network Engineer

About the role

Our client, a leading enterprise technology integration and managed services provider in East and West Africa, is looking for a Senior Systems & Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation and optimisation of enterprise ICT infrastructure for financial institutions and other large organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and migrate enterprise servers, virtualisation platforms, storage and networking solutions.
• Manage hybrid cloud environments, backup, disaster recovery and security processes.
• Deliver managed infrastructure services, ensuring SLA compliance, high availability and performance tuning.
• Conduct technical assessments, audits and gather customer requirements.
• Prepare technical proposals, BOMs, SOWs and respond to tenders.
• Support pre‑sales activities with presentations, demos and workshops.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead knowledge‑transfer sessions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering, preferably in the banking or finance sector.
• Strong technical leadership and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and pre‑sales support.

• Cisco, Fortinet and Aruba networking.
