Service Advisor – Customer Service & Sales

About the role

The Service Advisor acts as the primary liaison between customers and the automotive shop, ensuring a seamless, trustworthy experience from the first phone call to vehicle pickup. You will listen to customer concerns, explain inspection findings, build accurate estimates, and guide customers toward informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and greet customers professionally.
• Gather vehicle information, ask pertinent questions, and document concerns.
• Present technician inspection results, explain recommended repairs, and build value‑based estimates.
• Follow up on pending work, coordinate approvals, and keep customers updated throughout the repair process.
• Maintain accurate repair orders, communicate with technicians, and prioritize workflow to keep bays productive.
• Offer financing options when appropriate and ask for the business without pressure.
