About the role
We are seeking compassionate Social Care Workers to join our dynamic team in a residential care home setting. You will provide day and overnight support to older adults, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and dignity.
Key responsibilities
- Administer medication as prescribed.
- Act as a key worker, taking responsibility for individual service users.
- Support re‑ablement plans and promote independence.
- Contribute to planning, monitoring and recording of service delivery.
- Lead shifts when required, assuming temporary overall responsibility for the care home.
Required profile
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the capacity to follow instructions.
- Resilience in unpredictable situations and ability to cope under pressure.
- Minimum SVQ Level 2 in Social Care (or equivalent) and a commitment to achieve SVQ Level 3.
