Solar Commercial & Industrial Sales Representative

About the role

Ao Solar Limited is seeking dynamic Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar Sales Representatives to drive growth across Kenya. You will work from your local city or region, identifying and closing solar EPC contracts with factories, warehouses, schools, hospitality venues and agricultural processing plants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Prospecting: Target high‑value C&I clients and leverage existing networks.
• Pipeline Management: Guide prospects through cold outreach, technical discovery, proposal development, negotiation and contract signing.
• Reporting & Compliance: Prepare work plans and summaries in line with company SOPs.
• Technical & Commercial Advisory: Explain solar EPC system benefits, ROI, payback periods and energy offsets to decision‑makers.
• Relationship Management: Build long‑term relationships with stakeholders, consultants and industry partners.

Required profile

• Kenyan citizenship.
• Minimum 3 years of proven sales and marketing experience, preferably in solar or broader EPC sectors.
• Strong communication confidence and ability to present technical and financial concepts.
• Professional references that can be verified.

Required skills

• Solar EPC systems knowledge.
