Staff Software Engineer – .NET & Webforms

About the role

PrismHR, the HR, payroll and benefits platform used by thousands of businesses, is looking for a Staff Software Engineer with deep .NET and Webforms expertise to own and evolve critical functional areas of its mature ASP.NET Webforms applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test and maintain end‑to‑end functional areas, ensuring production reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across the application and database tiers.
• Set engineering standards, lead code reviews and mentor other engineers.
• Provide input on platform evolution, balancing modernization with stability.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with ASP.NET Webforms, including page lifecycle and state management.
• Strong C# development skills within a mature codebase.
• Solid front‑end experience using JavaScript and jQuery.
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server, writing and tuning queries and stored procedures.
• Ability to debug across application and database layers under pressure.
