Ticketing & Travel Operations Agent

About the role

The Ticketing & Travel Operations Agent will manage airline ticketing activities for both domestic and international flights, ensuring accurate fare construction and compliance with industry regulations. This full‑time position supports clients with travel advice, handles enquiries and complaints, and maintains operational records.

Key responsibilities

• Issue, reissue, revalidate tickets and process refunds.
• Manage reservations, cancellations, itinerary changes and schedule updates.
• Construct fares in line with airline and IATA rules.
• Provide professional travel advice on routes, fares, requirements and policies.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and after‑sales support.
• Maintain accurate ticketing, invoicing, reconciliation and operational records.
• Ensure compliance with IATA, BSP, airline and TRA regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, airlines and travel partners.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Tourism Management, Travel & Hospitality or related field.
• Valid IATA certification (mandatory).
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with Amadeus GDS or a comparable reservation system.
• Practical experience in airline ticketing, fare construction, refunds, reissues and BSP processes.
• Good knowledge of airline rules, tariffs and international travel requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
