About the role

Tembo Wild Limited, a premier destination management company, is seeking a Travel Consultant to design and deliver luxury travel experiences across Africa. You will act as a travel architect, creating bespoke itineraries and ensuring flawless execution for high‑end clients.

Key responsibilities

• Craft customized tour itineraries that reflect each client’s interests and luxury standards.
• Develop new travel products and refresh existing packages to keep the portfolio innovative.
• Accurately calculate costs and price tours for profitability and client value.
• Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, providing expert advice on African destinations, timing, and logistics.
• Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings by building trust and demonstrating deep knowledge of the market.
• Coordinate bookings with premium hotels, airlines, specialized drivers, and other service providers.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years (36 months) of experience in luxury or high‑end travel consulting.
• Strong understanding of African tourism destinations and logistics.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex itineraries simultaneously.
