Universal Banker – Retail & Business Banking

About the role

We are looking for a Universal Banker to deliver an excellent customer experience while driving branch business growth and profitability. The role involves advising customers on a full range of retail and business banking products, ensuring compliance with policies, and contributing to the branch’s sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers and increase wallet share from existing clients, meeting defined sales targets.
• Promote and cross‑sell a full suite of retail and business banking products, collaborating with asset finance, CIB, and bancassurance teams.
• Maintain compliance with KYC, AML, and internal risk policies, ensuring accurate documentation and proper booking of new business.
• Provide timely onboarding of accounts and loans, meeting service level agreements and TAT standards.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and feedback, ensuring resolution and high NPS scores.
• Support branch cost management, conduct snap checks and monitor performance against daily targets.
• Participate in market intelligence activities to identify new opportunities and inform product development.

Required profile

• Business‑related degree (e.g., Business, Commerce, Management).
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in banking or financial services.
• Familiarity with banking products such as checking accounts, savings accounts, loans and credit cards.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent internal customer service orientation and ability to collaborate across functions.
