Volunteer Faculty – Counseling Psychology

About the role

Join Africa Nazarene University as a Volunteer Faculty member in the Counseling Psychology department. You will help shape a high‑quality curriculum and support student learning in a spiritually enriched environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement curriculum and course outlines.
• Create lesson plans, teaching materials, and online resources.
• Deliver instruction using diverse methods such as field studies, group activities, labs, and off‑class projects.
• Design assessment plans and evaluate student performance.
• Supervise undergraduate, graduate, internship, and research projects.
• Conduct and publish research, contribute to grant writing, and collaborate with peers.
• Advise students on academic and career matters.
• Participate in conferences, workshops, and industry outreach.
• Support departmental administration and field operations.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant field or a Master’s degree with a PhD candidate in the final data‑collection stage.
• Minimum three years of relevant industry or academic experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, planning, and research abilities.
