About the role
Join Africa Nazarene University as a Volunteer Faculty member in Theology, contributing to a vibrant spiritual and academic environment. This full‑time position involves designing and delivering high‑quality curriculum for undergraduate and graduate students.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and implement a high‑quality Theology curriculum.
- Review course outlines, create lesson plans, and prepare both contact and online teaching materials.
- Employ diverse teaching methods such as field studies, group activities, assignments, and laboratory sessions.
- Design learning assessment plans and supervise undergraduate, graduate, internship, and research projects.
- Conduct departmental research, publish findings, and participate in grant writing and collaborations.
- Advise students on academic and career matters.
- Represent the department at conferences, workshops, industrial linkages, and outreach visits.
- Support departmental administrative and field operations.
Required profile
- PhD in a relevant field (or Masters with PhD candidacy at final data‑collection stage).
- Minimum three years of relevant industry or academic experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizing, and research skills.
