Volunteer Faculty – Theology

About the role

Join Africa Nazarene University as a Volunteer Faculty member in Theology, contributing to a vibrant spiritual and academic environment. This full‑time position involves designing and delivering high‑quality curriculum for undergraduate and graduate students.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement a high‑quality Theology curriculum.
• Review course outlines, create lesson plans, and prepare both contact and online teaching materials.
• Employ diverse teaching methods such as field studies, group activities, assignments, and laboratory sessions.
• Design learning assessment plans and supervise undergraduate, graduate, internship, and research projects.
• Conduct departmental research, publish findings, and participate in grant writing and collaborations.
• Advise students on academic and career matters.
• Represent the department at conferences, workshops, industrial linkages, and outreach visits.
• Support departmental administrative and field operations.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant field (or Masters with PhD candidacy at final data‑collection stage).
• Minimum three years of relevant industry or academic experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizing, and research skills.
