Volunteer Secretary & Programme Coordinator (Recruitment Mobilisation)

About the role

Arise Africa Movement is seeking a dedicated volunteer to serve as Secretary and Programme Coordinator for its Recruitment Mobilisation Committee (RMC). The role ensures that decisions made by the committee are captured, assigned, and followed through, providing the administrative backbone needed for rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare agendas and coordinate RMC meetings.
• Record decisions, minutes and action items.
• Maintain the RMC master calendar and action trackers.
• Follow up with responsible officers to ensure deadlines are met.
• Coordinate committee correspondence and compile regional and functional reports.
• Organise and maintain RMC documents and records.
• Produce regular progress summaries and flag delayed actions.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Respect for confidentiality, data protection and applicable laws.
• Willingness to attend meetings, training and occasional field activities.
