Youth Engagement Migration Consultant (Remote, 18 months)

About the role

The UNICEF Global Education Practice is seeking a Migration Consultant to lead youth engagement initiatives within the PROSPECTS 4 Youth project. This 18‑month remote consultancy will support the implementation of technical facilities and inter‑generational networks that enhance education and employment opportunities for displaced youth.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the Inter‑Agency PROSPECTS4Youth Technical Facility (P4YTF) and Intergenerational Network (P4YIGN).
• Coordinate with youth focal points at ILO and UNHCR to deliver integrated technical support to PROSPECTS countries.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing, peer‑to‑peer learning, and capacity‑building activities across the three work streams: Link, Learn, and Localise.
• Monitor and report on project outcomes and outputs in line with the approved PROSPECTS Opportunity Fund proposal.
• Provide strategic guidance to ensure effective youth participation, leadership, and rights‑based approaches in education and employment interventions.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in youth engagement, migration, or humanitarian programming.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with UN agencies and international partners.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
