Access Field Manager

About the role

The Access Field Manager will lead the execution of access strategies for priority products at regional and hospital levels. This role translates national and therapeutic‑area strategies into actionable field plans, identifies barriers, and works with stakeholders to secure formulary inclusion and reimbursement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional and hospital access plans for priority products.
• Translate national access strategies into clear field actions and monitor progress.
• Identify access barriers, define mitigation plans, and protect agreed price and positioning.
• Engage with hospital, regional payer, wholesaler and distributor stakeholders; map decision‑makers and influence pathways.
• Lead or support negotiations, tendering and contracting activities to secure access.
• Collaborate with Therapeutic Area Access Strategy, Medical, Commercial, HEOR/HTA, Execution Excellence and Public Affairs teams.
• Maintain accurate account data in CRM systems, monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with SOPs and local regulations.

Required profile

• University degree in life sciences, pharmacy, health economics or related field; advanced degree desirable.
• 5–8 years of experience in market access, field access or related healthcare roles within complex healthcare systems.
• Experience working with hospitals, payers, regional health authorities or similar stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of reimbursement, formulary, tendering and launch processes.
• Proven negotiation, stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to develop and execute structured account plans using data and KPIs.
