Account Manager – Client Lifecycle & Loan Management (Kisumu)

About the role

The Account Manager will own the full client lifecycle in a micro‑finance environment, from acquisition through loan management and recovery. Based on‑site in Kisumu, the role requires a business‑related diploma, at least one year of micro‑finance experience, and the ability to travel on a motorbike.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new clients through stage visits, business centre outreach and repeat engagements while maintaining up to 200 active leases.
• Vet clients and guarantors according to credit policy, capture all information in the CRM and obtain system approval.
• Deliver training on asset acquisition terms, payment schedules, insurance, and reporting procedures.
• Manage loan disbursement, monitor repayments, and initiate recovery actions for overdue accounts.
• Handle incident coordination, insurance documentation, and support for impounded or stolen assets.
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, agreements and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent in a business‑related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in micro‑finance (preferred).
• Unquestionable integrity and transparency.
• Motorbike riding competence is mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a CRM system for client data capture and tracking.
• Ability to conduct field visits and perform on‑site client assessments.
