Account Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Account Manager to join Bolt’s commercial team in Nairobi. You will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of store partners, driving growth and ensuring a high‑quality experience for both partners and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own relationships with a portfolio of store partner brands, acting as their main commercial contact.
• Retain and grow the portfolio by monitoring account health, identifying new location, category and campaign opportunities, and converting them into volume and revenue.
• Track account performance against targets, use data to spot growth blockers and turn insights into actions.
• Prepare and lead regular business reviews with structured insights and recommendations.
• Manage and execute consumer‑facing campaigns, ensuring smooth delivery and continuous performance improvement.
• Ensure partners meet operational KPIs such as availability, catalogue quality, fulfilment and customer experience, resolving day‑to‑day issues.
• Collaborate with Merchant Operations, Campaigns, Tech Support and other cross‑functional teams to remove blockers and support partner launches.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in account management, consulting, business development or similar commercial roles, preferably in grocery, retail, FMCG, e‑commerce or delivery.
• Proven track record of meeting revenue targets and commercial metrics.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Kiswahili.
• Highly organised with strong prioritisation and time‑management skills.
• Diploma or Associate’s degree.
