Accountant – Debt Collection & Financial Reporting

About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented, self‑motivated Accountant to join our finance team at Anniversary Towers in Nairobi CBD. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing debt collection and accounts receivable, and ensuring statutory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor outstanding customer balances, follow up promptly and manage debt collection processes to support cash flow.
- Prepare, process and maintain daily ledger entries, financial statements and related documentation.
- Perform regular bank, vendor and account reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing and filing statutory returns (KRA, PAYE, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF) on time.
- Communicate financial updates and reports to management and act as liaison between finance, clients and internal teams.
Required profile
- Minimum CPA Part II or equivalent accounting certification.
- 1–2 years of proven experience in accounting, finance or bookkeeping.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and focus on debt collection.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
