Account Manager – Banking-as-a-Service

About the role

Choice Bank is seeking a commercially driven Account Manager for its Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) offering. The role will be based in Nairobi and focuses on managing and expanding relationships with fintechs, corporates and strategic partners, ensuring high-quality client experiences and supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with BaaS clients, fintechs, corporates and strategic partners, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Drive client onboarding, implementation and ongoing account management, identifying upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Monitor client performance, transaction volumes and usage trends, analyse data and provide insights to improve engagement.
• Prepare regular account reviews, performance reports and client updates.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance and Risk teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in account management, relationship management, business development or client success.
• Experience in BaaS, fintech, banking, payments or financial technology is an advantage.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and communication abilities, with a self‑driven, target‑oriented mindset.
