Accountant (Finance & Reporting)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Accountant to join our finance team in Nairobi. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, and supporting payroll processes within a dynamic wholesale environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports and perform reconciliations.
• Manage invoices, payments, and petty‑cash transactions.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers.
• Assist with payroll processing and statutory deductions.
• Monitor stock movements and related financial transactions.

Required profile

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Focus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and financial reporting.
• Good communication and organizational abilities.
• Capability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a wholesale or distribution company is an advantage.
• Minimum of 1 month relevant experience.

What we offer
