Accountant – Financial Statements & Treasury

About the role
The Accountant will support CIC Pharmacy Insurance Limited by preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing receivables and payables, and maintaining the general ledger. The role also involves assessing internal controls and contributing to cost‑optimization initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports in line with reporting standards.
- Maintain the asset register and ensure alignment with company policies.
- Provide schedules, listings and reconciliations for internal and annual audits.
- Manage vendor invoices, reconciliations, ageing reports and support AP processes.
- Oversee inventory management, conduct stock takes and produce related reports.
- Perform daily bank and Mpesa reconciliations and cash‑control reporting.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- Progress towards a professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
