Accountant – Full-Time, U.S. Hours (EST Shift)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Accountant to manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping, reporting, and light administrative support. This full‑time position works on U.S. Eastern Standard Time hours, offering a strong growth opportunity for early‑career professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks.
• Maintain and update financial trackers and reports in Google Sheets.
• Reconcile accounts and prepare basic financial reports.
• Support invoicing, expense tracking, and record‑keeping.
• Handle general administrative tasks such as scheduling, email correspondence, and filing.
• Assist with data entry and reporting beyond core accounting needs.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of hands‑on accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Comfortable using Google Sheets (formulas, basic data organization).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Eager to learn, adaptable, and able to work EST evening hours.
• CPA‑K in progress is a plus but not required.

What we offer

• Monthly compensation of Ksh 55,000–65,000.
