Accountant

About the role

We are expanding our finance team at Amini and are looking for a proactive, part‑qualified accountant to own end‑to‑end financial processes. You will work closely with the Admin and Operations teams, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely reporting and robust internal controls in a fast‑growing AI‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day bookkeeping in QuickBooks, recording sales, purchases, expenses, payments and receipts.
• Coordinate payment runs, gather supporting documentation and verify purchase approvals.
• Lead the sales cycle recording, post accruals, pre‑payments, fixed‑asset depreciation and inter‑company transactions.
• Drive month‑end and year‑end close, perform full balance‑sheet reconciliations and produce accurate P&L statements.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs with commentary on variances, margins and key operational KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain internal controls, support external audits and respond to audit requests.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified accountant with a hands‑on, “can‑do” attitude.
• Ability to work independently, resolve issues proactively and support cross‑functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate financial reporting.
