Accountant – Nairobi

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing international organization in Nairobi. The role offers the chance to apply advanced English communication skills while contributing to the company’s financial integrity and supporting its expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile General Ledger accounts.
• Handle full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Perform bank and financial reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities.
• Assist with cash‑flow monitoring and financial analysis.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles.

Required skills

• General Ledger management.
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• QuickBooks (advanced).
• Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced).
• Bank and financial reconciliation.
