Accounts Assistant – Finance Support

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to support the day‑to‑day operations of our client’s finance department. The role involves processing transactions, maintaining records, and assisting with reporting and audits.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, payments and receipts accurately and on time.
• Prepare payment vouchers and maintain proper financial documentation.
• Perform bank, petty cash and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and schedules.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.
• Support accounts receivable and payable functions, including follow‑up on outstanding balances.
• Assist in budget monitoring and expenditure tracking.
• Support procurement processes by verifying documentation and ensuring compliance.
• Participate in project financial tracking, reporting and reconciliation where applicable.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA Part II qualification or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• High integrity and ethical standards.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.
