Accounts & Assistant Lodge Manager

About the role

Puya Lodge is seeking a motivated professional to combine financial oversight with operational support. As the Accounts & Assistant Lodge Manager you will ensure the lodge’s accounting processes run smoothly while assisting the Lodge Manager in day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the lodge’s financial and accounting systems.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring full compliance with Kenyan tax regulations.
• Support the Lodge Manager in supervising the cyber, housekeeping and car‑wash teams.
• Assist in building and promoting the lodge’s conference and event business.
• Produce regular financial reports and provide insights for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience (minimum 12 months) in accounting, finance or related field.
• Strong understanding of Kenyan tax obligations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operational staff and management.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
