Accounts Payable Assistant – Finance Operations

About the role
The Accounts Payable Assistant will support the finance team by processing supplier invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate records. This role is essential for smooth cash flow management and audit readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Capture supplier invoices in SAP and match them with purchase orders.
- Post supplier payments on time according to agreed terms.
- Ensure vendor invoices comply with eTIMS and receive departmental approval before posting.
- Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve disputes.
- File vendor invoices and reconciliations daily in organized, alphabetical files.
- Assist with internal and external audits and support finance training projects.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Administration or Business Management.
- Minimum 2 years of accounts payable or similar finance experience.
- Preferably semi‑qualified accountant (CPA or ACCA).
- Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation and organizational skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with SAP ERP system.
- Advanced Excel skills.
