Accounts Receivable Manager

About the role

RemoFirst, a global HR platform for hiring, compliance, payroll and benefits management, is looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to support its finance team. The role manages accurate and timely client invoicing and ensures seamless billing across global payroll, optimising finance processes while keeping accuracy and client satisfaction high.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and issue accurate client invoices monthly according to billing cycles
• Ensure timely billing for all services, including Employer of Record (EOR) and global payroll
• Check invoice accuracy against local payroll data, client agreements and employee contracts
• Work with Customer Success, Hiring, Offboarding, Support and Sales to capture all billable items
• Coordinate with the Product team on invoicing system improvements and investigate reconciliation breaks
• Respond promptly to client invoice queries and help reconcile client accounts
• Spot recurring billing issues and propose process improvements, and complete ad hoc tasks such as audit support

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience as a finance, payroll or accountant
• 2-year accounting degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience handling a high volume of customer invoices
• Ability to work autonomously within a team in a fast-paced startup environment
