Actuarial Manager

About the role

We are seeking a forward‑thinking Actuarial Manager to support subsidiaries and group functions such as Finance and Risk. The role provides actuarial analysis to monitor financial liability, risks and market dynamics, while championing efficiency, IFRS 17 compliance and consistent reporting across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IFRS 17 systemisation and reporting for Life and General Insurance entities.
• Champion automation and systemisation of actuarial reporting processes.
• Collaborate with Finance and IT to streamline data integration between actuarial and accounting systems.
• Develop, maintain and document actuarial models for reserving, pricing and projections.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to subsidiary actuarial teams.
• Ensure compliance with group policies, professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum of six passed actuarial exams (IFoA, SOA, ASSA or equivalent).
• At least five years of actuarial experience in a life or general insurance environment.
• Demonstrated experience with IFRS 17 implementation and actuarial systemisation.
• Strong understanding of insurance financial reporting and reserving methodologies.

Required skills

• Prophet, MoSes or AXIS actuarial software.
• SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Python for modelling and automation.
• Power BI for reporting and visualisation.
