Adjunct Lecturer in Pathology (Full‑time)

About the role

The University seeks an enthusiastic Adjunct Lecturer to deliver Pathology and Pathophysiology courses to undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Pharmacy and related health‑science programmes. This full‑time position involves classroom teaching, laboratory supervision, and mentorship of students pursuing careers in health sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and assess Pathology and Pathophysiology modules for pharmacy and health‑science undergraduates.
• Design, supervise, and grade practical and laboratory reports.
• Support and mentor students in their academic and career development.
• Participate in curriculum development to keep programmes current and market‑relevant.
• Contribute to programme assessment, reviews, and quality assurance activities.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by the department.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Pathology, Human Pathology, Biomedical Science or a closely related discipline from an accredited university.
• PhD or MMed in Pathology is an advantage.
• Registration with the relevant professional or regulatory body is desirable.
• Minimum three (3) years of university‑level teaching experience, preferably with diverse health‑science students.
• Strong command of the subject matter, excellent communication, and the ability to plan lessons effectively.
