Administrative and Finance Officer

About the role

The Kenya Institute of Public Health is looking for an Administrative and Finance Officer to assist with day-to-day administrative and finance duties. The post holder will act as executive assistant to the KIPH CEO and the Management Team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage front office functions as receptionist and administrator
• Maintain the office filing system and archive documents properly
• Handle correspondence and support preparation of vendors and other contracts
• Keep the office organised and comfortable, order office supplies and update inventory
• Prepare and process payments according to KIPH procedures
• Maintain records of all financial transactions and documents
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the CEO and management

Required profile

• Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, Business IT or a related course
• CPA Part II
• Certificate in Public Relations, Customer Service or AI is desirable
• 3 years of experience as an administrator or executive assistant in an academic institution
• Digital marketing experience is an added advantage
